Jill The power struggle between The NBA Players’ Association president, Derek Fisher and it’s Executive Director, Billy Hunter continues as the season winds down. The executive committee at the urging of Hunter is seeking the resignation of Fisher.

Jill Derek Fisher returned to Staples Center Thursday night for the first time as a member of the Oklahoma City Thunder. Fish of course was a part of 5 Laker Championships, drafted to the team in 1996 along with Kobe. He was traded to the Rockets for Jordan Hill, waived and signed with the Thunder two weeks ago.
The Lakers put together a tribute video which was shown last night. Fish also received a standing ovation.

Jill If my prediction holds up, and of course I believe in myself, the Western Conference finals will feature the Lakers going up against the OKC Thunder. And, if that happens, the thought that Derek Fisher could be signing there is HUGE!!

Jill The Lakers always seem to pull of trades that seme semi-impossible or shock the masses once revealed. This year’s trade deadline was no exception. The Lakers, in addition to the earlier trade that netted them Ramon Sessions, have traded Derek Fisher and a 2012 first-round pick (via Dallas) to the Rockets for Jordan Hill a third year forward.

Jill Day 137 of the NBA lockout and the NBA players union voted unanimously not to accept the NBA owners latest contract proposal. In attendance were superstars like Kobe Bryant and Carmelo Anthony, the league’s future in players like Russell Westbrook and Chris Paul plus players that are in the final years of their NBA career like Etan Thoma, Dahntay Jones, Jason Terry and more. The next for the Union is to disband and file an antitrust action against the NBA.
NBA Owners & Union To Meet Wednesday Afternoon, Do or Die… Again

Jill Today is said to be do or die for the NBA season. A meeting is scheduled at 1:00 between the union and the owners. The owners have said the last agreement terms they issued were take it or leave it. Yesterday, the palyers indicated that they’ll be leaving it.
