The Clippers are serious about changing their status from tier two team to taking over the number one spot. The Clippers have signed ex-Nugget Kenyon Martin to a mini-midlevel deal for $2.5 million. The move shores up the Clippers big man rotation which as of now consists of Reggie Evans (great “enforcer type player, gets you rebounds but not a scorer) and Brian Cook (yeahhhhhhhhh, I got nothing).

The Clippers may have run out of wind last night against the Denver Nuggets, ending their 3-game winning streak but Clipper fan Rihanna was in the building rocking a new look!

Lob City faced off against the Utah Jazz Wednesday night in Utah. The game went right down to the wire with the Clippers pulling out their first win in Utah since 2003. Both CP3 and Blake had double-doubles. Chris Paul had 34 points and 11 assists. Blake had 31 points and 14 rebounds.
And where would Lob City be if not for dunks? 5 started off the game. Check out CP3 to Blake, CP3 to DeAndre Jordan and a no-look reverse lay-up from Paul.

We’ve seen some spectacular dunks this week-and we’re only 2 days into the week). But NONE of them compare to what Blake Griffin did Kendrick Perkins.

The battle for LA, Lakers vs. Clippers or, Lob City vs. the Lake show, the hallway series. Whatever name you have for it, understand that this is becoming a real rivalry. The Lakers took this one to stop a 3-game losing streak 96-91. Pau Gasol scored 23 Points and 10 Rebounds and even got a little chippy with Chris Paul at the end of the game.

This has been the week of the last second shot at Staples Center. Monday Derek Fisher hit a last second 3 to seal the win for the Lakers over the Mavericks. Wednesday it was Chauncey Billups with the game winning 3 for the Clippers over the Mavericks…again.
Friday night at Staples it was the Timberwolves vs. the Clippers. This time, the buzzer beat would not be launched from the home team. Mr. double-double himself, Kevin Love hit a deep 3 from the top of the 3 to give the T-Wolves the win. 101-98.

Looks as if Chris Paul has located his L.A. home. The Clippers superstar is purchasing the former home of pop star Avril Lavigne for $8.5 Million. The 12,184 square feet mansion is located in Bel-Air and includes 8 bedrooms and 10.5 bathrooms. The Mediterranean-style house features a wine cellar, 10-car garage, and a gym with a sauna.

The Dallas Mavericks woes continued. The reigning NBA champs were in LA to face off against the Clippers! Of course Khloe Kardashian was courtside (Her shoes are FIRE!!) I actually adore her casual game day look. Kim, Rob and mom Kris Jenner were there too.Unfortunately for them, the night belonged to the Clippers thanks to a last second shot from Mr. Big shot himself, Chauncey Billups.
