What do you do after you beat the Miami Heat in overtime? Have a party naturally. Clippers star point guard Chris Paul celebrated the launch of his shoe, the CP3 V in L.A. with a soriee put together by Brand Jordan. On hand to help Paul celebrate were his wife Jada, Clipper teammates, DeAndre Jordan, Ryan Gomes and Blake Griffin and of course, the unofficial Clippers mascot, Clipper Darrel. Also spotted in the building, the Black Mamba, Kobe Bryant.

Chris Paul appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Thursday night. The newest Clipper point guard spent time defending his new team (naturally) and discussing his current living arrangements (he’s in a hotel with his wife Jada and son. As are his brother CJ and his wife plus his parents… not all in the same room)

It’s only the pre-season (6 more days until the NBA season officially kicks off) but I’m going to say that it’s not wrong to be excited about the Clippers this year. Wait, I know you hear that from me every year but if you watched the pre-season game last night between the Lakers and the Clippers, then you know that there is definitely a feeling of something different.

“Basketball reasons” was the official explanation as to why the Lakers trade with the Rockets and Hornets that would’ve brought Chris Paul to LA was nixed. Count Kobe Bryant as someone who doesn’t believe NBA Commissioner David Stern’s explanation.

Chris paul is officially a member of the Los Angeles Clippers. His introductory press conference was held on Thursday at the Clippers practice facility. A classy guy, the first words were those of thanks to the Hornets organization and the City of New Orleans.

Blake Griffin, DeAndre Jordan and Caron Butler were visting Forty-second street school in L.A. when they were informed the Clippers had completed a trade with the New Orleans Hornets for All-Star Chris Paul sending out Eric Gordon, Chris Kaman and Al-Farouq Aminu. Fox Sports West had Cameras were rolling and captured the players reactions.
