The reserves have been announced for the 2012 NBA All-Stars. There were some obvious snubs (Hello, Rudy Gay has been killing.) Isn’t it about time the rules for voting players on the all-star team changed so that their aren’t limits on position? Or at the very least up the total team number from 12 players to 15. That way it at least represent the total number of players available to every team.

The NBA always has Hardwood Classic nights where they feature teams in their throwback jerseys. For an expansion franchise like the Heat- started in 1988- They salute a former ABA franchise, the Miami Floridians. The Heat are rocking the jerseys from the 71-72 season. Check out some of the “team” photos. My personal favorite is Chris Bosh with the 70′s “porn star stache”

Dwyane Wade turns 30 on Tuesday but the party got started in Miami over the weekend. Sunday morning there was a surprise brunch at The W South Beach, Sunday evening a red carpet party in the courtyard at the Setai Hotel and the evening rapped up at Mynt Lounge which included a performance by rapper Rick Ross. Chris Bosh is considered the “3″ of the big 3. The least important component. But most don’t realize that he contributed 18 points and 8 rebounds last season and is actually been the most balanced throughout the Voltron formation of the Heat . Bosh shared his thoughts with GQ on who he’d want to take the last shot in a game and why he’s so emotional.

Chris Bosh and his wife Adrienne are expecting a son later this spring. But that isn’t stopping Chris from battling with his ex, Allison Mathis, over his visitation rights for their 3-year old daughter Trinity. Chris believes Allison is yet again trying to keep him from seeing his daughter.

The Shaq era on TNT’s Inside the NBA has officially begun. On Thrusday night’s telecast, Shaq was “Shastradomous” Where he gave his 2012 predictions. Ernie would make Ebony, I think he insulted a sponsor’s product but the best “prediction” what Charles Barkley is going to look like if he falls off his diet.
