I’m not sure if you’ve noticed but, I’ve abandoned my Basketball Wives recaps. The show is/was without a doubt one of my guilty pleasures. But lately, the drama has felt stale. Very much rinse and repeat. This season it seemed as if the ladies of the circle (well at least certain members and their extended parts) were in overdrive to ramp up the b**ch-meter.
Episode 13 illustrates everything I think is wrong with the direction the franchise is taking. The ladies vacation in Tahiti, Tami gets a few shots in her and starts coming for Kesha.

Basketball Wives season 4 shot their reunion on Saturday in L.A. Clues are leaking that there were some explosive moments but necessarily any violent ones. A petition has been circulating for weeks calling for a boycott of the show as well as the spinoff, “Ev & Ocho” which follows the couple as they head into wedded bliss.
Shaunie took a moment to address the bullying/violence issue once again along with accompany statements from VH1 and Shed media (the producers of the show).

Are you ready for Basketball Wives the movie? Shaunie O’Neal and Tracey Edmonds have made a deal with Fox Searchlight for an untitled film based loosely on the “Basketball Wives” concept.

One legal response may have opened another for Basketball Wives star Jennifer Williams. “Producers” of the hit series (Shaunie? Shed media? VH1 execs?) are allegedly livid that Jennifer has filed suit against Nia Crooks. These individuals are allegedly considering filing suit against Jennifer for trashing the show in the media (something that is in violation of her contract)
GIlbert Arenas request lawsuit against Laura Govan & Basketball Wives to be dismissed

Gilbert Arenas is back in the playoffs this season with the Memphis Grizzlies. They face off against the Clippers on Sunday in Memphis. We know Gil also reconciled with his fiance’ Laura Govan months ago but he hadn’t dismissed his lawsuit against her and her TV show Basketball Wives LA.

Basketball Wives and it’s stars are facing a lot of heat in season 4 about the antics of some of the cast. An online petition has been created calling for the boycott of Evelyn Lozada’s spin-off Ev & Ocho. Celebrity personality Star Jones has commented about the bullying on the show. Some of this season’s interactions have included, wine bottle tossing and table leaping. Those actions follow up seasons past where drinks, actual glasses and a hand to the face are all common reactions to an argument or disagreement.
Both Shaunie O’Neal and Tami Roman recently offered their explanations as to why there’s so much bullying and conflict on the hit VH1 show.

Episode 10 of season 4′s Basketball Wives kicks back off at the race rack following Nia’s (Evelyn’s assistant) slap to Jennifer’s face. Kesha is once agan off to the side looking scared for her life. Evelyn is charging into the arms of security and everyone else is semi-shocked.
