Indianapolis Colts Fire Head Coach Jim Caldwell

The Indianapolis Colts dropped a bombshell with the firing of their Head Coach, Jim Caldwell. Team owner Jim Irsay had already fired team vice chairman Bill Polian and his son, Chris, the team’s general manager, the day after the season ended. Last week they brought on 39-year-old Ryan Grigson as the new GM. I guess he already knew what he wanted to do with Caldwell.

The interesting thing is that Caldwell was recently involved with interviewing candidates for assistant coaching postions. Former Rams head coach Steve Spagnuolo just interviewed for a Defensive coordinator postion.

Colts have a lot of decisions to make in the months before the draft. (Peyton Manning)
