Vikings CB Chris Cook Arrested On 2 Charges Of Domestic Assault

Minnesota Vikings CB Chris Cook was arrested early Saturday morning on two charges of domestic assault. This is the second arrest in less than a year for the sophomore CB. He was arrested in March on a firearms charge that he was later acquitted of.  Check out the details:

Eden Prairie police spokeswoman Katie Beal says the 24-year-old was arrested without incident after someone called 911 around 2 a.m. Saturday to report hearing people across the street yelling and screaming.

Cook was booked into Hennepin County jail and online records showed he was still there around midday Saturday. He is due in court Monday morning.

Cook is in his second year with the Vikings and was expected to start Sunday’s game against the undefeated Packers in place of the injured Antoine Winfield.

The team has announced that Cook won’t be playing in Sunday’s game.
