As a professional athlete returning to campus to finish up your college courses towards your degree, time spent in the classroom can be distracting. Students starring, ready with their cell phone to snap any move you make. Cam Newton has figured out a way to at least humanize himself with his Auburn classmates. Cam brought donuts, milk and orange juice yesterday continuing to expand his legend this semester as Mr. Popularity.

“He just said since it was Thursday he though he’d bring us some donuts so I guess there was no particular reason,” says Auburn junion Brookelyne Harvel, who snapped a photo of donut party. “He was really nice about it… Everyone in the class was grateful and thankful. Everyone told him thank you. The professor was really nice about him bringing them to class. He didn’t have a problem with it at all. Cam said that the professor could have some too if he wanted.”

“People were honestly shocked and a few people didn’t notice it was him at first. A bunch of people were freaking out about it once he left,” says sophomore Lindsay Klocko.

So far Cam has been spotted at basketball games leading chants and being serenaded by coeds on Valentine’s day. Who said you can’t revisit your college years.
