Looks as if Rihanna did more than simply clap back at the NFL for dropping her and Jay Z from the Thursday game open last week on CBS. Following the drama surrounded Ex-Ravens star Ray Rice, CBS felt a more somber tone should be featured.
Apparently with the intent to pick it back up this Thursday. Ri’s label, Roc Nation issued a statement announcing that they had pulled licensing rights for the NFL to use “Run this Town.”
I bet CBS thought their decision was sensitive. See, it’s complicated.
