Warriors Take 2-0 Lead Over Rockets In Western Conference Finals

The Golden State Warriors have now taken a 2-0 lead over the Houston Rockets in the Western Conference Finals. Thursday night’s match up was a battle between the NBA’s current MVP, Steph Curry, and MVP-runner-up, James Harden.

Harden almost had a triple-double, scoring 38 points, 10 rebounds and nine assists. Steph Curry’s stat line was 33 points and six assists. His fourth quarter shoot out, where he showed just how unguardable a deadly J can be was amazing.

Of course, everyone can’t stop talking about the final play of the game, and whether or not Rockets’ head coach Kevin McHale should’ve called a time out on the final possession of the game.
Warriors win by one point. Now the series shifts to the Rockets home court. If we learned anything about the team during their second-round match up against the Clippers, it’s not to count them out when the odds are against them.
