Nick Young Steals Pass Intended For Lou Williams & Hits Game-Winning 3-Pointer

The Oklahoma City Thunder were facing a double-digit deficit against the Los Angeles Lakers until Russell Westbrook put the team on his back and scored or assisted on 24 consecutive fourth-quarter points for his team.  They held a one-point lead over the Lakers and it appeared they would win the game and then Swaggy P happened.

Nick Young did the most Swaggy P thing and stole a pass intended for Lou Williams and hit a clutch three-pointer, giving the Lakers the 111-109 win.  The Lakers currently have an 8-7 record, vastly better than the past two miserable seasons they had prior.

After winning the game, Young pointed to his arm, saying he had “ice in his veins,” paying homage to his teammate D’Angelo Russell.  It’s nice to see they’ve moved on from the recording fiasco.  If you forgot, Russell recorded Young admitting to cheating on his then-fiancee Iggy Azalea.  The video got leaked and Iggy later pulled the plug on their relationship after several more indiscretions from Nick including getting his baby mother Keonna Green pregnant again.  She gave birth to a baby girl, they already have a son together, Nick Young Jr.

But anyways, Young continued to celebrate and joke after the game that he should’ve been credited with a steal.

“I stole the ball from Lou,” Young laughingly said. “I just felt like I wanted to take the shot, man.”

All was well in Laker land, but if Young didn’t make that shot, this would be a totally different story.
