Kobe Bryant goes in on Smush Parker & Kwame Brown and says Dwight Howard needs to be an a-hole to win

Recently, Kobe Bryant indicated that Dwight Howard needed to step up his a$$hole game to get to the next level in the NBA.

“Shaq was a goofball. But Shaq was a big a——. I was a little a——. It worked well. Dwight has a lot of that in him. He just needs to bring it out and make guys pay every single day.”

Today, we offer an example of the Black Mamba’s sh*t talking game. A combination of truth and well-timed ether. The victim is once again Bryant’s former Laker teammate, Smush Parker and a few others from that ’06 Laker team:

“I almost won an MVP with Smush Parker and Kwame Brown on my team, I was shooting 45 times a game. What was I supposed to do? Pass it to Chris Mihm or Kwame Brown?”

There was more on Smush…

“He shouldn’t have been in the NBA but we were too cheap to pay for a point guard,” Bryant said of Parker. “So we let him walk on.”

If you remember that ’06 team. Kobe was at the top of his game, it’s no wonder he feels like some of his greatest performances were wasted on Smush. And he’s right in his assessment of Dwight. If he can find his on-court nasty, it’ll help elevate his game. People hate Kobe but you’d never be able to say he’s not a winner.
