Clippers Tweet Photo Of Blake Griffin And Equipment Manager He Punched

The Los Angeles Clippers made an awkward attempt to move past their internal dirty laundry from the physical altercation between star Blake Griffin and a member of the team’s equipment staff following teasing that went to far.

Blake and Clippers equipment manager Matias Testi got into a heated confrontation outside of a restaurant in Toronto a couple weeks ago. The outcome was Blake breaking his hand plus being suspended four games by the team. He issued and apology earlier this week.

“It’s something I think about every day and wish I could take it back,” Griffin said, “and I’ve told Matias that.”

“I have talked to Matias tons of times since the incident,” Griffin said. “He actually said it best: ‘This stuff happens and we’re like brothers and we just have to move on.’ “

Thursday night for the Clipps first game coming out of the All-Star break, the social media team tweeted a photo of Blake dapping up Testi before last nights game against the San Antonio Spurs with the caption, “family.”

The two were good friends before this incident so its likely that they have moved past the incident, but it still made for a weird social media moment that seemed forced.
