David Beckham To Re-up With LA Galaxy

Have no fear LA Galaxy fans, David Beckham has decided there’s no place like LA! The futbol star has decided to bypass an offer from the French club, Paris Saint-Germain and re-up with the Galaxy. The motivating factor? Becks didn’t want to uproot his family from America. Details of a new deal should be worked out in the next week or so. His last deal was for 5 years and paid $6.5 Million a year.
Floyd Mayweather Jr Sentenced To 90 Days In Jail

Floyd Mayweather Jr. has been sentenced to 90 days in jail after he plead guilty to reduced domestic violence battery and harassment charges stemming from a September 2010 incident involving his ex (and kid’s mother) Josie Harris. Floyd Jr. has to report to jail on January 6th. He also has to complete 100 hours of community service and pay a $2,500 fine.

Say goodbye to the Beckhams in America. David Beckham is set to sign an 18-month deal with French club Paris Saint-Germain next month. The price for his services? 800,000 euros or in American dollars, $1.05 million per month.
Becks is fresh off of a title win with the LA Galaxy and also plans on playing for the English team in the Olympics next summer that take place in London.
LA Teams Come Up: Angeles Sign Albert Pujols For $250 Million, Clippers Sign Caron Butler For $24 Million

Thursday was a great day for LA Sports teams- well, minus that whole botched Chris Paul trade, the NBA better make it right!! Former St. Louis Cardinal and 3-time MVP award winner, Albert Pujols signed with the Anaheim Angels of Los Angeles (or however it’s phrased now, I’m confused at this point) for 10 years- $250 Million. The Angels also signed CJ Wilson (formerly of the Texas Rangers) to a 5 year $77 Million dollar deal. The Angles have to keep up with the Dodgers, it IS Hollywood after all. The Angels want to keep the baseball spotlight focused on them.

Serena and Venus Williams were in Medellin, Colombia on Thanksgiving for an exhibition match. For Venus, it was her first time returning to the court since pulling out of the U.S. Open after being diagnosed with Sjogren’s syndrome, an autoimmune disorder.
