Jill Serena and Venus Williams were in Medellin, Colombia on Thanksgiving for an exhibition match. For Venus, it was her first time returning to the court since pulling out of the U.S. Open after being diagnosed with Sjogren’s syndrome, an autoimmune disorder.
LA Galaxy Defeat The Houston Dynamo To Win 2011 MLS Cup [Photos]

Jill The city of LA can add one more team to it’s championship pedigree. The LA Galaxy- our soccer team that features David Beckham- won the MLS Cup. The Galaxy defeated the Houston Dynamo 1-0 on Sunday night. The lone goal was scored by Landon Donovan.
This win also marks the first US cup for my boo, David Beckham. Check out photos from the celebration.

Jill At least one piece of good news has emerged in my sport’s world today. LA Dodgers star Matt Kemp is close to re-signing with the club for eight years and a total of $160 million.
Although the team has filed for bankruptcy as part of owner Frank McCourt’s divorce settlement, the move does not have to be cleared by courts.
Boxing Legend Joe Frazier Succumbs To Liver Cancer

Jill Boxing legend, ‘Smoking’ Joe Frazier died from liver cancer on Monday at 67 years old. In 1971, Frazier became the first fighter to defeat Muhammad Ali. That fight, was followed up with two Epic rematches including, “The Thrilla in Manila.”
Floyd Mayweather Jr. Calls Radio Host A F****T [Audio]

Jill I like Floyd Mayweather’s bravado. Confidence with just a tinged of cocky can be attractive. But the key to making that combination work, is knowing when to fallback and stay quiet. Floyd is still working on mastering that skill set. Case in point, Floyd heard a radio host named Rude Jude was accusing him of running from a fight with Manny Pacquiao- something MANY people have said for years- on his show, The All Out Show. Floyd decided he wanted to call in and address his commentary.
