Tam-Star’s NFL Pick Em’ Super Bowl XLVI
February 5th, 2012
Jill How about those New York J-E-T-S? I know they are not playing in the Super Bowl. Last year I could not resist thinking about the possibilities and this year is no different. Like most New York Jets fans I would rather see any team playing in the big game except the New England Patriots, but like other J-E-T-S fans I have accepted that it didn’t happen again this year. Our most hated rivalries are playing in the big game which makes it nearly impossible for us to logically bet on either team. Safely speaking, I think it’s natural to root against your rivalry, but what do you do when both (New York Giants and New England Patriots) are playing?
Patriots Cut Tiquan Underwood the night before the Super Bowl
February 4th, 2012
Jill This has got to be cruelty at it’s finest. The NFL is a business. Totally get that mantra but, waiving players the night before the Super Bowl?!? That’s got to be a special type of wrong.
The night before Super Bowl XLVI, the Patriots released receiver Tiquan Underwood and moved defensive end Alex Silvestro from the practice squad. If it’s a move based on an injury, is it something that you just discovered the DAY BEFORE THE SUPER BOWL? You allow him to do everything that has to do with the big game except play.

Jill Looks like Panthers number 1 draft pick, Cam Newton is headed to Hawaii. Newton will be playing in his first Pro-Bowl game replacing Giants QB Eli Manning.

The Wild Card weekend was so unpredictable you may be hard pressed to find one NFL analysts who went 4-0 last week.

Tam-Star’s NFL Pick Em’ Wild Card Weekend
January 7th, 2012
Jill
The playoffs are here! The regular season was entertaining to say the least. There was so much that took place on and off the field it’s almost impossible to recap. TO did not play, Sih wrecked a car while on suspension for kicking another NFL player, Indy almost went win less this season, the Dallas Cowboys lost their place as America’s team (my opinion), Dan Marino’s throwing record was broken twice, Albert Haynesworth was released, Donovan McNabb asked to be released, Cam Newton showed out, Chad Ochocinco only caught one touchdown pass, the Jets put their foot in their mouths, and we all learned a new word, “Tebowing.” These were just a few of the “Hollywood-like” stories we endured the last 17 weeks.
