An avid futbol fan, Snoop was inspired to research getting involved with the Glasgow Celtic after he caught their match against Barcelona during Champions League play. Snoop doesn’t want to be involved in the day-to-day works of the club but wants just enough so that his voice can be heard…
Snoop even mentioned the potential of trying to lure current LA Galaxy star David Beckham to the team.
“I asked my man David about Celtic and he was like, ‘Yeah, teams don’t come much bigger.’ I would try and sign him up for a season, but he is pretty happy over here, L.A. is home for him and his family now — but I would have to at least make that offer to my boy. We have lunch when we can, so next time, you know, I am going to speak to him about it. Never say never,”
The Galaxy are about to compete against the Houston Dynamo in a rematch for this season’s MLS Cup. Sounds like Snoop’s interested in that Jay Z and the Brooklyn Nets type of ownership. I mean who wouldn’t be?
