What if Kobe and Shaq never split up?

Shaquille O’Neal is being inducted into the Hall Of Fame. Naturally that means taking a look back at his stellar career.

Kobe Bryant and Shaquille O’Neal were arguably the best duo to ever share a basketball court. They are two of the top ten players to ever play the game, and together proved to be nearly unbeatable. But good things usually don’t last forever. The only thing that could stop Kobe and Shaq was themselves. The two developed a tension that caused a dramatic split. But what if that never happened? What if they remained together? How many NBA Championships could they have won?

Though there is no sure fire way to find exactly how many they would win, we could estimate. Shaq estimated that they would have won five or six champions had they remained together, so where does our estimate fall? Well, when looking at a list of champions and comparing the rosters, it appears that between 2004 and 2011 (From when he left L.A. to when he retired) they would reasonably be expected to win 3 championships. So where do we get these numbers?
