Ever wonder what happened to former 1995 Golden State Warriors number one NBA draft pick Joe Smith?  Smith spent 16 seasons in the NBA, changing teams 14 times during his professional career. He’s received a check from 12 of the leagues 30 franchises. And played twice for three of them. He was been traded seven times, and signed seven times as a free agent.

Smith’s longest stint with a team was three seasons with the Milwaukee Bucks from 2003-06. During his NBA career, Smith never became an All-Star, won rookie of the year or played for an NBA championship.  He earned upwards of $61 million during his time in the L.

Joe last played for the Lakers in 2011. The 39 year-old’s current career, rapper. Smith’s rap alias is “Joe Beast.” He performed at the Man Cave Sports Bar in LA on Friday night.
