Jay Z, Beyonce & Solange Release Joint Statement

Jay Z, Beyonce and Solange Knowles have released a joint statement regarding the leaked video footage from The Standard hotel that showed, Solange popping Jay up in an elevator.

The statement basically said sh*t happens with family, we’re good now, thanks for your concern.

“As a result of the public release of the elevator security footage from Monday, May 5th, there has been a great deal of speculation about what triggered the unfortunate incident. But the most important thing is that our family has worked through it. Jay and Solange each assume their share of responsibility for what has occurred.

“They both acknowledge their role in this private matter that has played out in the public. They both have apologized to each other and we have moved forward as a united family.

>“The reports of Solange being intoxicated or displaying erratic behavior throughout that evening are simply false. At the end of the day, families have problems and we’re no different. We love each other and above all we are family. We’ve put this behind us and hope everyone else will do the same.”

Speculation has run rampant but the explanation that makes the most sense to me – at least as close as we hope to come to the truth because the Carter-Knowles clan is notoriously private – but Check out talk show host Wendy Williams theory.

And The Standard hotel employee that recorded the video and sold it to TMZ, they’ve been caught. The hotel has naturally fired them and plans to pursue criminal and civil charges.

The former employee was allegedly paid $250K by TMZ for the video. They sold themselves short. Lawyer’s fees and no job, could be a tricky set up.
