2015 NFL Pro Bowl To Be Held In Phoenix

Do you watch the NFL’s Pro Bowl? Does the location matter to you? Pro Bowl was moved to Miami a few years back when the Super Bowl was held their two weeks later. Next season, the annual showcase is moving to Phoenix, where the Super Bowl will be two years later.

The 2015 Pro Bowl will be held on Sunday, January 25, 2015 at the University of Phoenix Stadium in Arizona, home of the Cardinals – the same site as Super Bowl XLIX — and broadcast live on ESPN at 8 p.m. ET.

It’s a pretty logical move, frankly, with Super Bowl XLIX being held in Arizona in February of 2015. While Phoenix isn’t Honolulu, it is a nice enough place for a vacation and it allows Pro Bowl players to minimize travel plans around the Super Bowl.

However, the Pro Bowl will return to Hawaii after the 2015 season. With Super Bowl L — the 50th Super Bowl – set to be played in the 49ers new stadium, the Pro Bowl will take place on Sunday, January 31, 2016 in Aloha Stadium in Hawaii.

If the reason for moving it is about minimizing players travel, why is it going back to Hawaii in 2016?
