One NBA player thinks he has an idea to help increase the games popularity. The NBA lags behind football as America’s most popular sport. Wizards Marcin Gortat thinks the answer lies in letting players fight when they get into on court scuffles.
One of the reasons I think the NFL is more popular than the NBA is the violence, the hits. That and the fact that there are only 16 regular season games. But back to the fighting, people like violence. I’m not really trying to see it that involved in hoops, but it would generate more looks.
