Ryan Braun & Alex Rodriguez plus 20 other MLB players allegedly facing suspension for PEDs use

Are you ready for the drama to kick into full throttle in the MLB? Per “Outside the Lines,” MLB Commissioner, Bud Selig is expected to suspend Alex Rodriguez, Ryan Braun, and up to 20 other players. The announcement will allegedly happen after the league returns from the ALl-Star break next week.

The reported suspensions will come as a result of the ongoing investigation into the Miami-based Biogenesis clinic, which allegedly provided players with performance-enhancing drugs. “Outside the Lines” reports that MLB began building cases against Braun, Rodriguez and the others after Biogenesis founder Tony Bosch agreed to cooperate with investigators last month. League investigators met with Braun on June 29, but the Brewers outfielder reportedly refused to answer any questions regarding the case. Officials have not yet met with Rodriguez, but a source told OTL that they are expected to do so sometime this week.

The length of the alleged penalties wasn’t revealed but it was speculated that 100-game- supsensions for both Rodriguez and Braun weren’t out of the question.
