NFL players and the off season usually means there will be arrests. One year a website even had an NFL counter tracking off season infractions with law enforcements. As for this season, the hot topic has certainly been ex-Lions player Titus Young but now we have another name to add to the list. 25-year old Jets running back Michael Goodson was arrested in New Jersey early Friday morning for possession of weed (less than 50 grams) – PLUS, a loaded .45 caliber and hollow-point bullets.

TMZ has the details:

According to cops, Goodson — who was signed by the Jets during the off-season to compete for the starting RB job — was a passenger in an SUV that was parked along Route 80 in Denville, NJ.

Cops say both Goodson and the driver of the vehicle appeared WASTED when they approached the vehicle.

Both men were taken into custody- with a stop by the hospital first – before being booked by the NJ police. The driver was booked on suspicion of DUI. If you can’t hire a driver, get one of your “professional friends” to take on that role. Trade off nights so everybody gets to experience the “turn up.”
