The Assist: 49′ers Chris Culliver’s wanna get away moment [photo]

When news broke on Wednesday that San Francisco 49′ers CB Chris Culliver said a gay teammate wouldn’t be welcomed in the locker room, I assured you that his name would ring the rest of the week. Take a look at a photo from Thursday morning when Culliver met with the media following an apology he issued. Clearly this is a Southwest Airlines want to get away moment.

Couple of things Culliver will probably never forget. 1. The Niners may practice in Santa Clara but they are the SAN FRANCISCO 49′ers. The Bay area, San Francisco specifically is home to a population where 15% of it’s residents are out and proud. Good luck with this.

    JUST PLAY FOOTBALL my dude. Damn! LOL. Some players are just way more savvy, calculated and well versed in front of the microphone. And if they aren’t, then they are the overly opinionated types that will say what they feel and stand by it 100%. If you don’t fall into either of those categories… just stick to doing whatever you get paid for.
