More bad news for Lakers fans. You thought this season couldn’t get any worst? Another of the Lakers key reserves is out for the season. Back up big man, Jordan Hill requires season ending hip surgery. Hill suffered the injury last Sunday in a Lakers loss to the Nuggets.

After seeing the team doctor and a hip specialist it was determined he had loose fragments as well as a possible labral tear. Basically, it’s painful to walk, let alone run and jump. The only way to fix it is surgery that will cost him the rest of the season.

The recovery time is approximately six months. Both Dwight Howard and Pau Gasol are out with injuries as well. It’s your time Earl Clark and Robert Sacre… Le sigh. The Lakers are at 25-1 to make the NBA finals per Las Vegas odds. The last time the odds were that bad, Sedale Threatt, Nick Van Exel, Cedric Ceballos, Corie Blount and Anthony Peeler were the featured on the squad and they played at the Forum.
