Baltimore Ravens star Terrell Suggs is the latest athlete to be accused of domestic violence. Suggs fianceé, Candace Williams – whose also the mother of his two children- filed an order of protection last month claiming the linebacker punched her in the neck and dragged her along side a speeding car with their two kids in the back.

Details of the order surfaced when news came out that Suggs had to turnover several firearms including an AK-47. There have been no charges filed against Suggs and his lawyer, Warren Alperstein released a statement confirming the guns were turned over and that Williams and Suggs were working on their relationship.

“The guns were surrendered over to police pursuant to the court order, and they (Suggs and Williams) are resolving their issues,” Alperstein told the Sun. “All I can tell you is that he’s in rightful and lawful possession of the guns but turned them over pursuant to the requirements of the law.”

Court records indicate that Suggs filed a custody complaint against Williams first, on November 19th with accusations regarding Williams treatment of their two children. Two days later Williams filed her own complaint.
Williams filed a $70 million lawsuit against Suggs back in 2009 alleging abuse at that time claiming that Suggs poured bleach over her and her son among other things. The suit was dropped and the couple reconciled.
