Twitter Rant : Metta World Peace vs.The Brooklyn Floppers

Metta World Peace has no problem sharing his thoughts with the rest of the world  and last night proved no different.  If you missed last nights Lakers’ game vs. The Brooklyn Nets, you missed a couple flops. I’ll let World Peace tell you:

The NBA defines flopping as “any physical act that appears to have been intended to cause the referees to call a foul on another player. The primary factor in determining whether a player committed a flop is whether his physical reaction to contact with another player is inconsistent with what would reasonably be expected given the force or direction of the contact.”

Flopping was banned by the NBA  for the 2012-13 season and the rule states offenders will receive a warning on the first violation and fines on the following flops.

Looks like Reggie Evans will be looking at a $5k fine for that one (since he’s already been warned) Ouch.
