Peyton Manning and Jim Irsay arrive at Indianapolis Airport together

The Peyton Manning era appears to be coming to an end for the Indianpolis Colts. A press conference is scheduled for Wednesday morning with Manning and Colts owner Jim Irsay. The expectation is that they will announce what’s been speculated about for weeks, that the Colts and Manning will part ways.

Interesting to note, the two were spotted Tuesday evening arriving at Indianapolis International Airport, TOGETHER and then got into a Range Rover leaving the airport. Manning told reporters:

“We’ll see you all tomorrow. We’ll talk tomorrow,” Manning said. “We’re good. We’re gonna talk tomorrow. We’re going to do it the right way tomorrow.”

Sounds like whatever is being announced tomorrow is being done with no hard feelings. The Colts went 2-14 last season and have the first pick of the draft. With that pick they are certain to select either Andrew Luck or Robert Griffin. Both QB’s who could instantly get the Colts younger and save them a lot of money. 14 years, one Superbowl and four MVP awards, I’m sure teams are ready to court Manning. But three neck surgeries and concern about the strengthen of his throwing arm are huge concerns especially considering the amount of money he’ll be expecting. How much is Peyton worth in the open market knowing his medical history?
