NBA MVP Derrick Rose’s Brother Has An Arrest Warrant Issued

NBA MVP Derrick Rose and the Chicago Bulls are on their way to the Eastern Conference finals to face off against the Miami Heat. Probably the only thing that’s casting a slight shadow on this happy time is the fact that an arrest warrant has been issued for one of Derrick’s older brothers.

An arrest warrant was issued for Allan Rose, 26, after he did not appear in court on Tuesday — the same day the Bulls beat the Hawks to take a 3-2 lead in the Eastern Conference semifinals. He was to be in court to face misdemeanor reckless conduct charges stemming from his arrest last month in the North Pullman neighborhood. Allan Rose attended the Bulls game at the United Center on Tuesday.

On April 2 at 12:49 a.m., police responded to a 911 call of a man with a gun at 901 E. 104th, where they found Allan Rose standing in the street, blocking traffic and yelling profanities, according to court records. Allan Rose was arrested and charged with reckless conduct.

Dude, it’s a misdemeanor. WHAT ARE YOU DOING? Now you’re not only embarrassing yourself but your brother over something that you could have easily taken caare of and probably moved on from rather quickly. Le sigh. It should be noted that Alan is not the brother who handles Derrick’s “business” (you know, the guys I call professional friends, they are the support team for their NBA friends or family), that’s Derrick’s brother Reggie.
