Episode 2 was all about Evelyn and her Birthday/independence party. Annnnd her hesitance at inviting Royce to the festivities… :YAWN: sigh, I’m so over that theme already. Was that really the most exciting thing about Evelyn’s party?? Moving off of that and on to the more interesting story lines. But before I do, Evelyn’s birthday dress has me GAGGING (in a totally great way!)

This is still one of my all time favorite pictures
Vh1′s Basketball wives continues to bring the drama weeks after the production has wrapped. Now it looks as if Shaq is following Dwight Howard’s example; Per TMZ, Lawyers for Shaq have put VH1 and the production company for the show Shed Productions on notice that Shaunie is in violation of a confidentiality agreement she signed which bars her “from disclosing or disseminating information regarding Shaq and their relationship to anyone outside (more…)

No Crossover: The trial of Allen Iverson aired last night on ESPN. It’s no secret that AI is one of the reasons my love for basketball flourished. His story has been chronicled several times however, this particular story reminded me how deeply entrenched racism still is in our society. The same traits that made AI one of the game’s best can be linked to the raw emotions that divided “Bad News” during the trial. I’m a huge fan of the 30 for 30 series. Quality original programming.
